| What is EA and Why is it Essential? |
The Expert Advisor or EA for short is an automated script that is used by a trading platform software to manage positions and orders automatically.
There is no experience required to become a Forex trader. You can always learn how to do the
trading yourself without using an EA, but by using the software to automate your trading, you will
be able to free up your time from having to sit at your computer all day so you can do other
things that need your attention. Automation is a huge draw for an EA.
When you use an EA to help you trade, there will not be any emotion involved and this can work
to your advantage because as a human, there are times when you will want to start trading too
early or you will start trading too late and lose money on your investment. Trading without
emotions is a skill that every trader has to learn. The EA doesn't use emotions, only technical
analysis.
There are many EAs that are sold off the shelf that claim to provide tremendous ROI.
Unfortunately, more often than not, these EAs fell short of expectations. As such, we decided to
take matters into our own hands.
We pooled together our experiences and knowledge of previous EAs that we had use, identified
the advantages of each EA and take them as a baseline for our system. We then worked with
our programmers to code out our own suite of EA systems that are specifically optimized for our
trading system. Through multiple backtest of our system using real forex data for the past 10
years, we ensure that our system is robust and scalable. Most importantly, the backtest results
also show a consistent upward trend with minimum spikes and drops.
